Sets up and operates manual printing press equipment to produce a variety of letters, numbers and signs.


Essential Functions:

  • Loads material into the machine by hand and unloads the material manually.
  • Prepares machine, screen, squeegee and ink (manual and semi-automatic).
  • Sets up the screen to achieve correct registration with the substrate.
  • Measures UV output to verify the joules and the correct watts of the U.V. reactor.
  • Continuously monitors and visually inspects machine components and finished products to ensue print quality.
  • Keeps a count of completed product and visually inspects finished product to ensure print quality.
  • Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies to accomplish job results without waste.
  • Uses knowledge and experienced to resolve basic operating problems; reports all other problems to supervisor.
  • Ensures completion of area documentation including material transfer forms.
  • Performs basic equipment preventative maintenance.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
  • Completes and records results of in-process Quality inspections.
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned.



High School diploma or GED equivalent is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.



  • Screen printing experience is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Able to work from verbal and written instructions.
  • Basic operational computer knowledge.

Physical Requirements:


  • Able to perform repetitive work.
  • Able to lift 35 pounds.
  • Able to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
