Overview

The Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for the development and support of business intelligence solutions for both legacy and new initiatives. This position requires a good understanding of Extract Transform Load (ETL) patterns and practices as well as experience with reporting and analysis. This role will work directly in data warehouse design and development. The Business Intelligence Developer will also develop and support cube (OLAP) based solutions when needed. This role will work directly with business users to help drive accurate requirements and deliver appropriate solutions.

Qualifications

Qualifications

 

  • Expertise in ETL patterns and practices
  • Strong background in Reporting
  • Experience with data analysis
  • Strong SQL skills with understanding of normalized models and de-normalized models
  • Experience with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
  • Understanding of data warehousing
    • Kimball Model
    • Inmon Model
