Overview

The Sr. E1 Programmer Analyst position is responsible for application development within the Oracle E1 ERP environment. The position will work with the E1 functional team to define technical solutions to support business requirements related to projects and enhancements. The position will be responsible for the detail design, development, testing, implementation, documentation and support of E1 application changes. The role will act as the lead system designer for the development of changes to the E1 application platform.

Key Result Areas (KRAs)

 

The job encompasses the following major functions or key result areas: • Oracle E1 application design and development • Application support of existing E1 code base • Technical coordination of projects  

 

  • Create new functionalities, UBE’s, applications as well as support existing enhancements with the E1 platform using the E1 OMW development tool set
  • High level of experience in Event Rule and C business functions
  • Develop and maintain interfaces between E1 and other applications such as WM, demand planning and EDI.
  • Create/review functional design documents and technical detail design documents.
  • Establish and maintain close working relationships with internal and external contacts including project managers, staff, consultants, and contractors
  • Provide end-user and implementation team E1 troubleshooting assistance
  • Participate in defining project proposals and estimates
  • Develop detail testing plans and execute testing scripts related E1 enhancements

Qualifications

Education

 

•   BS/BA or MS/MA/MBA or other graduate degree in related discipline and at least 4 to 6 years of E1 development experience

Qualifications

 

  • Experience with E1 version 9.0 or later, functional experience with SOP, inventory, procurement
  • Additional experience with DSI, Transform and/or Manhattan WM is desired
  • Experience with the E1 running on the IBM iSeries is desired
  • Excellent analytical skills are required
  • Advance knowledge of MS Office applications and project management tools
  • Excellent communication and presentation (written, verbal and interpersonal) skills across all user levels
