Project Lead- Increases the performance capabilities and success of Ace Hardware related Field projects as related to sales through the implementation of industry standard project management processes.
- Primary point of contact on Ace Hardware related Field projects
- Oversees and responds to Ace Hardware field project requests and initiatives
Responsible for supporting Ace Field project review meetings and analysis
Participate in multiple cross organizational meetings as they pertain to Ace Field related projects
Lead partnership with Ace Project Managers on customized sets
Successful utilization of project management planning tools and five key project process groups (initiation, planning, execution, monitor/control and closing).
Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule which includes administrative tasks
Responsible for conducting root cause analysis and offer recommendations for process improvement
Maintain and monitor field project execution costs within approved P&L
- Responsible for select project management of strategic sales initiatives
Process Best Practices- Support and manage a department project and process best practices repository for communication and in support of field related projects.
Overseas execution of Ace New store, conversion, or expansion resets (Fasteners & Keys)
Compile field project summary documents as defined by the project management best practices
Develop field wide work processes that enable the consistent execution of sales initiative, with excellence
Maintain field project management library
Communication - Leads the Hillman organization through pertinent and timely communications to complete and facilitate projects to meet the desired goals.
Maintain relationships with Ace Project Managers & Hillman Field Teams
Partners with Marketing, Field Teams, Ace Project Managers, & store owners within Group/VIP chain resets
Participate in multiple cross organizational meetings as they pertain to sales related projects
Update organization on projects and maintain project schedule
Support – Provides necessary support to the Hillman organization where required to complete designated project tasks or business tasks.
Acts as a liaison between Hillman Field Management & Ace Project Manager teams
Assists Ace Project Managers & Hillman Field Teams with sales specific tasks that pertain to projects
Ensures Hillman’s merchandising standards and retail best practices are met across core programs with Ae
Promptly responds to concerns, issues, and suggestions and acts to ensure positive inter-department relations
Performs other related duties as defined by Business Manager-Traditional Sales
Performs some business analyst duties as required by project
