  • Overview

    Directs and oversees an organization's strategic and long-range goal planning function. Drives strategic initiatives, integration management and supports the development of long-term growth plans and profitability goals. Analyzes and recommends emerging industry trends, expansion opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, competitive threats, viability of outside business partners, venture capital sources, internal business performance and business process improvement. Analyzes and recommends expansion opportunities including mergers and acquisitions, competitive threats, the viability of joint ventures, capital sources, internal business performance, and business process improvement. Responsible for overseeing organizational reviews, communicating results to top management, and developing strategies based on organizational reviews. May be responsible for communications with industry analysts and the investment community.

    Responsibilities

    Key Result Areas (KRAs):

    • Company Growth Strategy

     

    • Develops and executes full strategic plans and programs connected with the growth plan of the business
    • Responsible for tracking and increasing company market share
    • Interacts with channel partners to develop company growth strategy
    • Leverages, analyzes and understands industry insights and translates them to enable holistic growth strategy
    • Leads the strategic planning process for key company initiatives
    • Identifies and analyzes acquisition candidates to compliment company growth
    • Manages integrations pre and post-acquisition

     

    • Project Management

     

    • Manages and monitors timelines and project management for key company projects
    • Mentors/Develops project managers in other organizations
    • Constructs and administers budget for assigned segment
    • Provides insights to cost, ROI, resource allocation and budget on key projects
    • Monitors timelines for Engineering development projects and ensure quality control for products

     

    • Communication

     

    • Communicates with internal and external partners to build strategies
    • Works cross-departmentally with business leaders to improve processes and gather data
    • Communications and influences leadership, investors, and top management
    • Utilizes multifunctional resources to drive results in a project trough others

     

    Qualifications

    Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field

    MBA preferred

     

    Qualifications:

    • 5 years experience managing complex projects, acquisitions and/or integration
    • Direct experience in project management and integration work with organizational leaders
    • Ability to analyze and interpret information and translate into strategic business plans
    • Ability to effectively develop and deliver presentations to all levels of internal stakeholders and external contacts.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to motivate team performance, and effectively interact with all levels within the organization and with external contacts.
