    Job Description

    The eCommerce Channel Manager will manage the day-to-day sales and operations execution across eCommerce retailers. For pure play retailers (Amazon,, etc.), this role will be responsible for collaborating and supporting the VP of .com sales by leveraging digital best practices including product content, sku rationalization, new item set up, digital marketing promotions and reviews. For retailers with eCommerce capabilities, this role serves as a consultant to the Channel/Sales teams to drive omni-channel objectives including: new digital tools/capabilities and leverage digital best practices to improve in-store and online conversions.


    Primary Responsibilities

    • Lead the formal development and execution of Hillman’s online sales strategy with pure play retailers by creating an eCommerce roadmap, sales playbooks, toolkits and processes.
    • Leverage digital best practices to create omni-channel sales/marketing plans for brick and mortar retailers.
    • Support and maintain relationships with customers. Collaborate to identify opportunities and build eCommerce capabilities for the strategically identified product categories.
    • Collaborate with Hillman cross-functional teams to achieve joint sales objectives.
    • Manage account day to day business around new item set up, logistics, sales order fulfillment, product specifications.

    Regularly track and communicate eCommerce sales performance across retailers, and represent eCommerce within monthly/quarterly business reviews, and annual sales planning process. Perform in-depth analysis of sales and profit components, including digital merchandising, promotional and supply chain opportunities.


    Qualifications/Skills Needed:

    • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Experience building eCommerce sales strategy and customer base with proven results, specifically with Amazon
    • Ability to influence, use independent judgment, analyze information and formulate recommendations
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
