  • Overview

    The associate at this level supports the development and maintenance of Engineering Systems with light supervision. These systems include PLM, SharePoint site development with Nintex Forms and Workflow, and the Engineering Change Release (ECR) process, as well as CAD data management and administrative support. This associate can creatively address Engineering Systems problems and propose systems improvements.


    • Administers and configures PLM applications such as workflows, security, and applications technical support.
    • Designs and implements new SharePoint sites and workflows and configures system to meet internal or external customer requests, as well as maintains and provides technical support for existing SharePoint applications, forms, and workflows using Nintex and SharePoint Designer.
    • As well as maintaining, proactively improves the document control system and process documents (including formatting, numbering, record retention and change control) through assessment of process weaknesses and hands-on improvement implementation.
    • Creates and maintains Bill of Materials (BOM) parts, structures, and product routings.
    • Controls change effectivity dates based on ECO implementation plans.
    • Enters product routing information into E1 and works with accounting to validate cost rolls before distribution.
    • Reviews and Finalizes ECR’s for all product lines.
    • Drives administrative support for CAD systems and ensures CAD data management/archival processes are robust and are being consistently utilized.
    • All other duties as assigned.



    Associates degree in IT or Engineering preferred, and 4-6 years experience in a related field OR High School Diploma and 5-8 years experience in a related field.    



    • Strong knowledge of Oracle Agile or other similar PLM/PDM software package (>2000 hours experience in either)
    • Strong knowledge of E1 or similar ERP system.
    • Knowledge of Engineering documentation control standards and quality principles.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, and Adobe products.
    • Experience navigating and reviewing drawings in PLMs.
    • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail. 
    • Strong experience in problem resolution, and referring more complex issues to higher-level staff.
    • Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist or similarly related certification preferred. 
    • >2000 hours experience in Microsoft SharePoint workflow design and implementation.
    • Strong working knowledge of Engineering Change Release (ECR) and documentation processes.
    • Strong knowledge of Engineering Systems and individual processes. 
    • Strong Microsoft SharePoint Designer and/or Nintex Forms.
    • Basic SolidWorks or other similar software package.
